Ignition has partnered with Hudsons Canadian Tap House since they began, so when they approached us requesting a campaign for the Downtown Hudsons’, of course we said yes. The main objectives for the campaign were to spread the word about the location’s recent renovation and to remind people that Hudsons Downtown is a great place to party.
The campaign was directed at commuting students and professionals when they were entering or leaving downtown. We knew the messages had to be quickly retained, so we created a copy-oriented campaign using simple language.
The copy referenced the renovation, positioning Hudsons as friendly and approachable. The messages were used on billboards, transit boards, school newspaper ads, street level advertising, radio, and online advertising.
